THE BOTANICAL WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP BY BEGOÑA MATEOS.
Saturday 27th of June, 1:00 - 4:00pm at the Mennonite Church (de Doopsgezinde Kerk) Zijdstraat 55 in Aalsmeer.
The Botanical Watercolor Workshop is a creative and expressive watercolor experience where participants learn how to paint wild flowers and botanical elements in a loose and intuitive style.
During the workshop, Begoña will guide participants through the use of different watercolor brushes and show how each brush naturally creates unique shapes, textures and movements. Instead of trying to control every detail, we use the characteristics of the brushes as an advantage to create organic leaves, petals and floral compositions full of movement and spontaneity.
Participants will explore several brush types and discover how simple gestures, water and pigment can transform into expressive botanical forms. The focus of the workshop is not perfection, but freedom, observation and enjoying the creative process.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as participants with previous watercolor experience.
This workshop is in English and is part of the Flower Festival ticket (€8,50) that is sold at the doors of de Historische Tuin and de Doopsgezinde Kerk in Aalsmeer.
